James Page, 30, is the subject of a death investigation as detectives probe the fatal shooting that was reported on Tuesday morning.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, at around 2:40 a.m. on July 2, officers were called to the 6800 block of Old Branch Avenue, where there were reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found Page inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No details about a motive or possible suspect has been released by the department.
The shooting remains under investigation.
